Went to Hilton Head from July 16-23. So nice and relaxing. The kids had an absolute blast and were amazing to and from in the car.
Had a little bit more rain this time around, but by day three we figured out the storms. Go to the beach in the morning and pool in the evening.
Like always, we ate really well. Frosty Frog Cafe, The Sandbar, Skull Creek Dockside, Super Baked Pizza and Casual Coastal Seafood. All were fantastic!
Colton worked on his dive at the pool, and Mallory even dove in! She got water in her goggles, so she was finished after one time. Both Colton and Mallory loved boogie boarding in the ocean. Mom and dad both did it too, but dad ended up breaking a boogie board on a 20 foot wave (not really. It was like a foot tall and he drove the board down into the sand and it snapped.)
We only saw one alligator in the lagoon behind the condo. In years past, there were at least two.
One of the highlights of the trip was our dolphin tour on Skull Creek. Captain Harry (I’m sure the name is wrong and mom will correct me) was awesome and really made the whole experience a blast. He knew right where the dolphins were, and within ten minutes we were seeing pods left and right. The kids had a blast and so did mom and dad.
