Boo 2020!

The Prince Family went to Nick’s mom and dads for trick-or-treating this year. Colton finally decided on a costume after 2 months of debating himself on what he wanted to be. After dismissing being a knight a jouster a jester (clearly he had some sort of medieval thing going on) he decided on being Captain America. Dad was very proud of him. Mallory we a beautiful mermaid.

Mallory made it down the street and back up until she decided she met her quota on candy, and had a seat on grandma’s lap to help hand out candy. Colton, failed to beat his 3 street record of 2019 and only was able to handle 2 streets before climbing on mom for a piggy-ride back to the grandparent’s house.

Upon arriving back we were told Mallory had given someone a treat out of her bag to someone instead of out of the treat bowl. She is such a giving person.

The kids were great at saying trick-or-treat and thank you at each house. There were a couple houses that Colton and Mallory were too scared to go up to. One house you had to go up the sidewalk, which meant you walked through a graveyard, to retrieve you bag of candy. Colton stayed in the street while Mallory braved the dead and accomplished her goal of candy.

The next house a wolf was handing out candy, again Colton kept his distance. Mallory kept her eyes trained hard on the wolf while she went through the motions of getting candy.

Besides having to wear face-masks, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it wasn’t much different than in past years. Fewer people were out, but it was still a blast.
