On Sunday we went and had your ears pierced at Claire’s on Newport on the Levee. You did amazingly well. They marked your ears with a pen so they could level out the holes. Then it was time to load the gun up and punch away. When the first one was done it took your breath away. You sat their with you mouth open trying to cry but nothing would come out. The lady hurried up and punched the other ear. You started to cry and mommy rescued you. She made you sit on my lap so you would associate the pain with me. The she swooped in and rescued you from evil daddy. I’m sure she had planned this well in advance. You were fine after a sucker.
