Today was your first day or prepreschool at The Wise Owl in Ft. Thomas. The first thing I asked when you woke this morning was, “do you want to go to school?”  You replied with a sleepy, “yes.”

After breakfast, we got ready to go. We tried to do the cute first-day-of-school-pic on the front porch, but you weren’t one for posing.

You carried your school bag and gifts for your teachers. It’s always good to suck up to your teachers on the first day. Keep this little tip with you and your school career will be much easier. 

We waited in line as the teachers opened the door to the school, and one by one, pulled kids inside and slammed the door shut. It was quick like a bandaid and very effective. You were so struck with the confusion that you didn’t have time to squirt out some tears and yell for us. 

We are now sitting here at Panera eating breakfast taking bets on whether you cried or not.
