Our annual trip to Texas is underway. This time we had an evening flight, so no getting up super early and interrupting your beauty sleep.
You check out the scene with mommy.
Uploaded a bunch of your staple movies to my iPad. Put on some headphones and you were pretty much set for the flight.
Family pic on the plane.
Mommy snapped a shot of the sunset as we got ready to land in Houston.

Today we went to the 30th Annual Houston Art Car Parade.
You had a pretty good time sitting up on Daddy’s shoulders.
We saw some pretty strange cars
Monday, April 10
Today we went to the Space Center Houston with Mimi and Papa.
The whole ride there you couldn’t wait to see the “BIIG WOCKET!”
We got on the tram/train and went to old mission control
After that, we went to Rocket Park where we checked out some of the first rockets that went into space.
Then we saw the aforementioned “BIIG WOCKET!” The Saturn V rocket propelled the Apollo missions into space. The one we saw was from the Apollo 18 mission that never went up. It was on loan from the Smithsonian. This rocket was massive. Pictures just don’t do it justice.
After the space center, we went to eat at Ciro’s Italian Grill.
You played some bocci ball and made a wish in the fountain at Nancy’s expense.
You also ate a ton of bread and some fettuccine alfredo.

Today we went to the park up the street from Mimi and Papa’s house. You had a good time swinging on the swing and climbing up the playset. Unfortunately, a rainstorm showed up and cut our time short. The rain didn’t affect you much as you had just as much fun running around in the rain and splashing in puddles.
