On Monday we had a Daddy Colton day at Smale Park downtown.  We had an absolute blast.

At first, you weren’t sure of the misters, but soon you were running through them laughing.

You spent some time stacking the giant checker pieces.

Your favorite place by far was the water park.  Filled with puddles, dams, waterfalls, and endless splashing we stayed there for a good hour and you had a blast.

After the water park, we sat on the swings, ate lunch, and watched the boats go up and down the river.

Before we left you had to get wet one more time in the fountains.

On Tuesday, we went to the zoo with Grandma and Grandpa.  You have been to the zoo more times this year than I have been my whole life.

Wednesday wasn’t as fun as the other two days.  We had to go get a lead test done on you.  Unfortunately, after they stuck your one arm they couldn’t find the vein, so they had to stick your other arm 🙁

You got a cool bandaid, sticker, and a toy.  We sat in the front lobby while you calmed down and played with your zebra toy.  You were all good after a few minutes.

It was a great few days… Wednesday wasn’t that great, but we got through it.
